One of my favorite, more recent instagram follows is andiandreastudio. She is the Visual Media Producer for Chris Loves Julia (and she’s Julia’s sister). She has been doing budget-friendly renovations to her home, and her recent kitchen reveal (photo above) has me itching to paint our kitchen cabinets (we plan to do a major renovation eventually, but not any time soon). She also recently shared some iPhone photo editing tips using Lightroom mobile, and I immediately went and downloaded the app.

Daniel and I are both spending the evenings and weekends lounging in some new joggers from Eddie Bauer. These are mine, and these are Daniel’s. They are super soft! I got the black, gray, and green (they are THAT good). The women’s run a little large, but I still kept my normal size because I like the petite length on me, which didn’t come in a smaller size.

I’ve been on the hunt for an organic, loose leaf,  decaf chai tea that is made with black tea rather than rooibos. My search led me to Arbor Teas. I got the decaf Masala chai, and Daniel got the Lapsang Souchong. They are organic, fair trade, committed to sustainability, the packaging is compostable…and the tea is delicious!

Do you follow Oleander and Palm on Instagram? She does weekly vintage sales, and I just purchased a green marble mortar and pestle (Daniel has been wanting one and this one was too pretty to pass up). She also occasionally makes “I’d Rather Be Thrifting” sweatshirts, and I have (and love) one of those too.

We recently finished watching Schitt’s Creek. Have you watched it? We resisted a long time, but once we gave in, we were hooked.  It’s so good and we both highly recommend it! It absolutely deserves all of the hype.

We just purchased this paint scraping tool, and it has been a game changer in preparing our 95-year-old trim for a fresh coat of paint. We’re dealing with lots of drips and peeling paint, and this has been invaluable.

We’ve had stuffed poblano peppers almost every week since discovering this recipe.

Daniel has been having fun trying out new cocktail recipes. This spiced pear and gin cocktail has been one of our favorites! It’s good with soda water, as the recipe says, but we also tried it with sparkling white wine (we used cava) and prefer it that way.
